Live pig prices on January 4 in the North

The live pig market in the North has shown little change compared to yesterday.

Specifically, only the price of live pigs in Lao Cai has increased by VND 1,000, reaching VND 68,000/kg.

Bac Giang and Hanoi continue to purchase at the highest price in the region, VND 69,000/kg.

Prices in other localities remain stable, ranging from VND 67,000 to VND 68,000/kg.

Thus, live pig prices in the North on January 4, 2024, are trading between VND 67,000 and VND 69,000/kg.

The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions has seen a slight increase in some areas compared to yesterday.

Specifically, traders in Nghe An and Ha Tinh have raised their prices to VND 68,000/kg, following increases of VND 1,000 and VND 2,000, respectively.

Prices in other localities have remained unchanged.

Thus, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on January 4, 2024, are trading between VND 66,000 and VND 68,000/kg.

The live pig market in the South has surged by VND 1,000 to VND 4,000 compared to yesterday.

Specifically, traders in Tien Giang are now trading at VND 68,000/kg, an increase of VND 4,000, matching the price in Binh Phuoc after a VND 1,000 rise.

After a strong VND 3,000 increase, prices in Kien Giang and Tra Vinh have reached VND 67,000/kg. This is also the price in Ben Tre after a VND 1,000 increase.

With the same price increase, Bac Lieu and Soc Trang have also raised their prices to VND 67,000/kg.

Other regions have not seen any changes in pig prices.

Thus, live pig prices in the South on January 4, 2024, are trading in the range of VND 66,000 to VND 69,000/kg.
