Among these, Dak Lak has maintained the highest price in recent days, along with Thanh Hoa, with prices reaching VND 68,000/kg. Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Khanh Hoa recorded the lowest prices in the region at VND 65,000/kg.
Thus, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on December 28, 2024, are being purchased around VND 64,000 - 68,000/kg.
In contrast, live pig prices in the Southern region today (December 28, 2024) continued to increase in provinces such as Dong Thap and Hau Giang, both rising by VND 1,000/kg to reach VND 66,000/kg.
