Among these, provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Hanoi, Bac Giang, and Thai Binh have the highest prices in the country at VND 69,000/kg. Other localities in the region have live pig prices ranging from VND 67,000 to 68,000/kg.
Thus, live pig prices in the North on December 28, 2024, are trading at VND 67,000 - 69,000/kg.

Today, December 28, 2024, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions remained stable. Currently, traders in these regions are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from VND 64,000 to 68,000/kg.
Among these, Dak Lak has maintained the highest price in recent days, along with Thanh Hoa, with prices reaching VND 68,000/kg. Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Khanh Hoa recorded the lowest prices in the region at VND 65,000/kg.
Thus, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on December 28, 2024, are being purchased around VND 64,000 - 68,000/kg.
In contrast, live pig prices in the Southern region today (December 28, 2024) continued to increase in provinces such as Dong Thap and Hau Giang, both rising by VND 1,000/kg to reach VND 66,000/kg. Sóc Trăng and Bac Lieu also increased to VND 65,000/kg, while Kien Giang, Ben Tre, and Tien Giang maintained prices at VND 64,000/kg.
Currently, live pig prices in the Southern region are ranging from VND 64,000 to 68,000/kg. Among these, Kien Giang, Tien Giang, and Ben Tre still have the lowest prices in the region at VND 63,000/kg.
