The live pig market in the North continues its upward trend compared to yesterday.
Specifically, the price of live pigs in Thai Binh has reached VND 67,000/kg after an increase of VND 1,000, the highest in the country.
With the same increase, traders in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh raised prices to VND 65,000/kg. In Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc, and Tuyen Quang, live pigs are being bought at VND 66,000/kg.
Prices in other localities remain stable.
Thus, the live pig prices in the Northern region on December 19, 2024, are trading between VND 65,000 and VND 67,000/kg.
The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions has increased slightly compared to yesterday.
Specifically, the price of live pigs in Thanh Hoa has risen to VND 66,000/kg, the highest in the region, after an increase of VND 1,000.
Similarly, traders in Nghe An and Ha Tinh have raised prices to VND 65,000 and VND 64,000/kg, respectively.
Thanks to an increase of VND 1,000, localities including Quang Tri, Hue, and Khanh Hoa have pushed prices to VND 63,000/kg.
Other areas have maintained the same prices as yesterday.
Thus, the live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on December 19, 2024, are being purchased at around VND 63,000 - VND 66,000/kg.
The live pig market in the Southern region remains stable compared to yesterday.
Among them, VND 66,000/kg is the highest price in the region, currently being traded in Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
Meanwhile, the lowest price in the region is stable in Tien Giang, at VND 62,000/kg.
Other regions are still purchasing at around VND 63,000 - VND 65,000/kg.
Thus, the live pig prices in the Southern region on December 19, 2024, are being traded within the range of VND 62,000 - VND 66,000/kg.
