The live pig market in the North remains stable compared to yesterday. This week, prices in the North have increased by VND 1,000 - 2,000.
Specifically, the provinces of Yen Bai, Hung Yen, and Hai Duong have maintained the same trading levels as last week. Meanwhile, other regions have raised prices by VND 1,000 - 2,000, pushing the purchasing price to VND 65,000/kg, the highest in the country.
Thus, live pig prices in the North on December 15, 2024, are trading at VND 63,000 - 65,000/kg.
The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions remains stable compared to yesterday. This week, prices in these areas have all increased, with some places rising by as much as VND 3,000.
Specifically, traders in Quang Binh have purchased pigs at VND 63,000/kg, after an increase of VND 3,000.
Other provinces have raised prices by VND 1,000 - 2,000 compared to last week, bringing the trading price to VND 64,000/kg.
Thus, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on December 15, 2024, are being purchased at VND 62,000 - 64,000/kg.
The live pig market in the South remains stable compared to yesterday. Prices in the South have also increased this week.
Specifically, traders in Binh Phuoc and Ho Chi Minh City have both increased prices by VND 2,000, trading at VND 64,000/kg.
Except for Can Tho, Kien Giang, Bac Lieu, Ben Tre, and Soc Trang, which remained unchanged, prices in other provinces have increased by VND 1,000.
Thus, live pig prices in the South on December 15, 2024, are trading between VND 62,000 and VND 64,000/kg.
