The live pig market in the North continues to show a slight increase compared to yesterday.

In particular, the price of pigs in Tuyen Quang has risen by VND 2,000, reaching VND 65,000/kg.

This is also the price at which traders in Bac Giang and Phu Tho are purchasing after a VND 1,000 increase.

Prices in other localities remain stable.

Thus, the live pig prices in the North on December 11, 2024, are trading at VND 63,000 - 65,000/kg.

The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions shows little change compared to yesterday.

With the same increase, traders in Hau Giang, Tien Giang, and Tra Vinh are purchasing at VND 62,000/kg.

Prices in other localities remain stable.

Ninh Thuan agricultural sector experiences strong growth

In 2024, Ninh Thuan established 10 additional agricultural cooperatives (HTX), bringing the total number of agricultural HTX in the province to 115. The agricultural sector has organized study tours to model HTXs outside the province and supported 31 young workers to join 26 agricultural HTXs.

Currently, Ninh Thuan has evaluated and classified 182 OCOP products from 81 entities, with 30 products achieving a 4-star rating and 152 products earning a 3-star rating. As part of the 2024 plan, localities in the province are conducting evaluations for 84 products from 49 entities to classify OCOP products.

Most of Ninh Thuan's OCOP products have received support for building and registering trademarks, being promoted on e-commerce platforms and local tourism sites, and have been invested in product display and sales stalls.
