(VAN) Coffee prices on May 23, 2025, dropped by a further VND 2,500, trading at VND 122,500 – 123,200/kg. Global coffee prices also declined across the board.

Globally, coffee prices on the London and New York exchanges dropped sharply on May 23, 2025.

Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for July 2025 delivery fell by $ 116 (equivalent to 2.37%) to $ 4,787/ton. The September 2025 contract also dropped by $105 (equivalent to 2.19%) to $ 4,784/ton.

Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica prices for July 2025 delivery declined by 9.55 cents (equivalent to 2.58%) to 360.75 cents/lb. The September 2025 contract also fell significantly by 8.80 cents (equivalent to 2.39%) to 358.65 cents/lb.

In Dak Lak province, coffee is currently being purchased in Cu M’gar district at VND 123,000/kg, while in Ea H’leo and Buon Ho, the trading price stands at VND 122,900/kg.

In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are trading at VND 123,200/kg and VND 123,100 VND/kg, respectively.

Meanwhile, in Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at 123,000 VND/kg, and the areas of Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining a price of 122,900 VND/kg.

As for Kon Tum province, the purchasing price for coffee today is 122,900 VND/kg.

Thus, on May 23, 2025, domestic coffee prices in Vietnam are trading around the range of VND 122,500 to 123,200/kg.
