Globally, coffee prices on the London and New York exchanges on May 22, 2025, showed mixed movements.
Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for July 2025 delivery dropped sharply by $70 (equivalent to 1.41%) to $4,903/ton. The September 2025 contract also declined by $6 (equivalent to 0.12%) to $4,889/ton.
Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica prices for July 2025 delivery rose slightly by 1 cent (equivalent to 0.27%) to 370.30 cents/lb. The September 2025 contract reversed course and increased by 1.05 cents (equivalent to 0.29%) to 367.45 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices today showed a slight decline on the London exchange but a modest rise on the New York exchange. The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) fell to a two-week low, prompting short-covering in coffee futures contracts.

In the domestic market, coffee prices in Vietnam on May 22, 2025, continued to decline compared to yesterday.

In Dak Lak province, traders in Cu M’gar district purchase coffee at VND 125,000/kg today. Meanwhile, traders in Ea H’leo and Buon Ho districts also trade at VND 125,000/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are trading at VND 125,200 and VND 125,100/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 125,000/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai districts are maintaining prices at VND 125,000/kg.
As for Kon Tum province, today’s purchase price is VND 125,000/kg.
Domestic coffee prices today have fallen by an additional VND 400–500 and are at risk of dropping below the VND 125,000/kg threshold.
