Live pig prices on May 16 in the Central and Central Highlands

The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions remains flat compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the lowest live pig price in the Central and Central Highlands region is VND 72,000/kg, recorded in Ha Tinh.

Meanwhile, traders in Binh Thuan are still transacting at VND 73,000/kg — the highest in the region.

In other localities, live pig prices remain around VND 68,000 – 72,000/kg.

Thus, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands on May 16, 2025, are ranging from VND 67,000 to 73,000/kg.

Live pig prices on May 16 in the South

The southern live pig market continues to remain steady compared to yesterday.

In particular, live pig prices in Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, and Soc Trang are holding at VND 73,000/kg — the lowest in the region and nationwide.

Meanwhile, traders in Long An, Tien Giang, and Ben Tre are buying at VND 75,000/kg — the highest in both the region and the country.

Prices in other localities are steady at VND 74,000/kg.
