The live pig market in the North has continued to increase compared to yesterday.
In many provinces, such as Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Thai Nguyen, Thu Pho, and Vinh Phuc, the price has increased by VND 1,000, reaching VND 69,000/kg.
Traders in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh are still buying at VND 67,000/kg, the lowest price in the region.
Prices in other localities remain stable at VND 68,000/kg.
Thus, the live pig prices in the North on December 24, 2024, are trading at VND 67,000 - 69,000/kg.
The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions has also increased compared to yesterday.
Specifically, only the prices in Lam Dong and Dak Lak have increased by VND 1,000, with traders purchasing at VND 67,000/kg.
Similarly, traders in Quang Tri, Hue, Quang Nam, and Quang Ngai have increased their prices to VND 65,000/kg.
Other localities have maintained the same prices as yesterday.
Thus, the live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on December 24, 2024, are being purchased around VND 64,000 - 68,000/kg.
The live pig market in the South has slightly increased in several places compared to yesterday.
Specifically, the price in Dong Thap and Hau Giang has reached VND 65,000/kg after increasing by VND 1,000.
With the same price increase, traders in Ho Chi Minh City have raised the price to VND 67,000/kg, matching the prices in Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, and Vung Tau.
Other localities have not seen any price changes.
Thus, the live pig prices in the South on December 24, 2024, are trading within the range of VND 63,000 - 67,000/kg.
