Live pig prices on December 31 in the North region have seen a rebound, with prices in Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, and Tuyen Quang increasing by VND 1,000/kg.
Currently, traders in the North are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from VND 67,000 to 69,000/kg. Bac Giang leads with the highest price in the country at VND 69,000/kg. Other localities in the region are trading live pigs at common rates between VND 67,000 and 68,000/kg.
Live pig prices on December 31, 2024: Prices rebound
Live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions today, December 31, 2024, also saw increases. Prices in Quang Nam, Lam Dong, and Dak Lak rose by VND 1,000/kg, while Binh Thuan experienced a larger increase of VND 2,000/kg. Currently, live pig prices in these regions range from VND 64,000 to 69,000/kg.
Lam Dong reached the highest level in the region at VND 69,000/kg. Meanwhile, prices in Binh Thuan and Dak Lak rose to match Thanh Hoa, reaching VND 68,000/kg. Quang Nam increased to VND 66,000/kg. Prices in other provinces range between VND 65,000 and 67,000/kg.
Live pig prices in the southern region today, December 31, 2024, also showed price fluctuations in several provinces and cities. Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, and Dong Thap all recorded increases of VND 1,000/kg.
Currently, live pig prices in the southern region range from VND 64,000 to 69,000/kg. Among them, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh both reached the highest price in the region at VND 69,000/kg. Ho Chi Minh City recorded VND 68,000/kg, while Dong Thap and Binh Phuoc stood at VND 67,000/kg.
On December 31, chilled pork products from Meat Deli on winmart.vn remained stable on the last day of 2024. Currently, the prices for these products range from VND 109,520 to 165,522/kg, with a 20% discount available for WinMart members.
Among them, pork belly and pork jowl are the highest-priced items, costing VND 165,522/kg and VND 149,520/kg, respectively. Following are pork shoulder cuts, which are priced at VND 123,120/kg.
Meanwhile, pork prices at Ha Hien Fresh Food Company remain unchanged. Products are being sold at prices ranging from VND 76,000 to 175,000/kg.
Specifically, pork thigh meat and aged pork ribs are priced at VND 109,000/kg and VND 112,000/kg, respectively. Pork belly and pork tails are sold at VND 146,000/kg and VND 162,000/kg.
