On the London exchange, Robusta coffee for May 2025 delivery surged by $ 164 (equivalent to 3.22%), reaching $ 5,263/ton. The July 2025 contract rose by $ 190 (equivalent to 3.76%) to $ 5,239/ton.
On the New York exchange, Arabica coffee for May 2025 delivery edged up by 2.7 cents (equivalent to 0.75%) to 360.40 cents/lb. The July 2025 contract increased strongly by 4.9 cents (equivalent to 1.39%) to 358.50 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices today, April 15, saw a sharp increase—nearly 4% on the London exchange and up to 1.4% on the New York exchange.
The rise in prices was driven by below-average rainfall in Brazil. According to Brazil’s weather agency Somar Meteorologia, the country’s largest Arabica-growing region, Minas Gerais, received only 17.9 mm of rain in the week ending April 12—just 89% of the historical average.
Robusta prices also climbed significantly due to tight supply, as ICE-monitored Robusta inventories dropped to a 6-week low on Monday, down to only 4,249 lots.
Thus, global coffee prices on April 15, 2025, have increased sharply compared to yesterday.

Domestically, the domestic coffee market also posted strong growth compared to the previous day.

In Dak Lak, Cu M’gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 127,000/kg today. Meanwhile, Ea H’leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 126,900/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are respectively buying at VND 127,200 and VND 127,100/kg.
In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 127,000/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai remain at VND 126,900/kg.
Meanwhile, the purchase price of coffee in Kon Tum today is at VND 126,900 /kg.
