Coffee prices on June 13, 2025: Robusta rebounds

(VAN) Coffee prices on June 13 declined sharply for Arabica. Domestic coffee market in Vietnam dropped by VND 2,000, trading at VND 111,500 – 112,300/kg.

On June 13, 2025, coffee prices on both the London and New York exchanges fluctuated slightly.

Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for July 2025 delivery rebounded by $5 (equivalent to 0.11%), reaching $ 4,397 per ton. The September 2025 contract also rose slightly by $23 (equivalent to 0.54%), reaching $ 4,314 per ton.

Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica for July 2025 delivery dropped by 2.85 cents (equivalent to 0.81%), settling at 347.80 cents/lb. The September 2025 contract declined by 3.3 cents (equivalent to 0.95%), to 345.30 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices today rebounded on the London exchange as signs of tightening supply triggered short-covering purchases of Robusta.

Compared to last year, however, total output is down 3.1% due to a drop in Arabica production. Forecasts for 2025 expect Arabica output to reach 37.2 million bags, a 7% decrease from 2024 due to a low-yield cycle. Meanwhile, Robusta production is projected to rise to 18.1 million bags, up 5.9% year-on-year thanks to expanded harvesting area and better yields.

Thus, global coffee prices on June 13, 2025, moved in mixed directions compared to yesterday.

Coffee prices on June 13 domestically

In the domestic market, coffee prices rebounded today compared to the previous session.

Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 111,800/kg.

In Dak Lak, Cu M'gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 112,400/kg, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 112,300/kg.

In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are offering prices of VND 112,500/kg and VND 112,400/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 112,300/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining a price of VND 112,200/kg.

In Kon Tum province, today’s purchase price stands at VND 112,300/kg.

Domestic coffee prices rose slightly by VND 200–400 today, helping the commodity hold steady above the VND 112,000/kg mark.

Thus, domestic coffee prices on June 13, 2025, range between VND 111,800 and 112,500/kg.
