On the global market, the latest pepper prices on April 15 show mixed fluctuations.

The price of Lampung black pepper in Indonesia decreased by 0.78%, reaching $ 7,081/ton. The price of Muntok white pepper dropped by 1.19%, settling at $ 9,675/ton.

Kuching ASTA black pepper from Malaysia is priced at $ 9,600/ton (down 2.54%). The price of ASTA white pepper from Malaysia remained stable at $ 12,100/ton (down 1.62%).

In Brazil, ASTA 570 black pepper traded at $ 6,850/ton (up 0.73%).

In Vietnam, the export price of 500 g/l black pepper stands at $ 6,600/ton, while the 550 g/l variety is priced at $ 6,800/ton. The export price of white pepper is at $ 9,600/ton.

The global pepper prices today are significantly lower in Malaysia and Indonesia. Meanwhile, Vietnam's export pepper prices remain stable, while Brazil's black pepper prices have risen substantially.

Last week, pepper prices experienced strong fluctuations due to the impact of US tariff-related news. At times, prices fluctuated by $ 200–$ 400 within a single day.

However, by the end of the week, pepper prices had stabilized at VND 157,000/kg. Demand from markets such as the US, EU, Asia, and particularly China, has returned.

Farmers and traders are continuing to stockpile goods and only sell a limited quantity to the market.

Thus, the global pepper prices on April 15, 2025, have fluctuated strongly compared to yesterday.
