(VAN) Pepper prices on April 10, 2025, in the domestic market continued to drop sharply, with a decrease of VND 1,000/kg over the previous trading session.

According to the International Pepper Community (IPC), global pepper prices today have experienced notable fluctuations. In major pepper-producing countries such as Indonesia, Brazil, and Malaysia, prices have seen slight changes, while Vietnam's pepper prices continued to drop sharply.

In Indonesia, Lampung black pepper is priced at VND 7,078, a decrease of 0.55%, and Muntok white pepper is priced at VND 9,710, a decrease of 0.56%.

In Brazil, ASTA 570 black pepper is priced at VND 6,800, with no change.

In Malaysia, ASTA black pepper is priced at VND 9,850, with no change, and ASTA white pepper is priced at VND 12,300, with no change.

In Vietnam, 500 g/l black pepper is priced at VND 6,600, a decrease of 7.58%, 550 g/l black pepper is priced at VND 6,800, a decrease of 7.35%, white pepper is priced at VND 9,600, a decrease of 5.21%.

The price of Indonesia's black pepper and Muntok white pepper has slightly decreased, indicating that the supply and demand situation in the global market is undergoing some adjustment. Notably, Vietnam's pepper prices have dropped significantly, with a reduction of up to $500/ton for exported black pepper. This reflects the strong impact of supply pressures and trade policy factors on prices.

On April 10, 2025, domestic pepper prices continued to drop sharply, with a decrease of VND 1,000/kg compared to the previous trading session. The average purchasing price in key regions now ranges from VND 147,000/kg to VND 148,000/kg.

In Gia Lai, the pepper price is VND 147,000/kg, down VND 1,000.

In Ba Ria - Vung Tau, the pepper price is VND 148,000/kg, down VND 1,000.

In Dak Lak, the pepper price is VND 148,000/kg, down VND 1,000.

In Binh Phuoc, the pepper price is VND 148,000/kg, down VND 1,000.

In Dak Nong, the pepper price is VND 148,000/kg, down VND 1,000.

In Dong Nai, the pepper price is VND 148,000/kg, down VND 1,000.
