Pepper prices on April 4 globally

The global pepper market today continues to remain stable, with little change in prices compared to the previous day. Below is the pepper price table updated by the International Pepper Community (IPC) as of 4:30 a.m. on April 4, 2025.

According to the report, Vietnam's black pepper is currently priced at $ 7,100/ton for the 500 gr/l grade and $ 7,300/ton for the 550 gr/l grade. White pepper is priced at $ 10,100/ton. Although global pepper prices remain stable, rising consumption demand in major markets such as the US and Europe is putting pressure on supply.

Global market outlook

Experts forecast that if major producing countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, and Brazil do not recover their output soon, global pepper prices may continue to stay high. The growing demand for pepper in the food and spice industries could lead to a supply shortage in the near future.
