Global pepper production in 2025 is expected to decline to around 434,000 tons, while demand remains high. This trend may keep pepper prices at elevated levels in the near future. Adverse weather conditions in key producing countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, and Brazil continue to pressure supply.
In the domestic market, pepper prices today remain stable, ranging from VND 159,000 – 160,000/kg. Key provinces such as Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, and Binh Phuoc have seen little change compared to yesterday.
