Global pepper prices today, March 31, 2025, remain stable but at a high level, according to the International Pepper Community (IPC) report. Specifically, Lampung black pepper from Indonesia is currently listed at $ 7,239/ton, while Muntok white pepper stands at $ 10,066/ton.

The Vietnamese black pepper market also recorded stable export prices, with 500 g/l black pepper reaching $ 7,100/ton and 550 g/l black pepper at $ 7,300/ton.

Global market outlook

Global pepper production in 2025 is expected to decline to around 434,000 tons, while demand remains high. This trend may keep pepper prices at elevated levels in the near future. Adverse weather conditions in key producing countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, and Brazil continue to pressure supply.
