On the global market, rubber prices posted a uniform increase.
At the time of the survey, RSS3 rubber on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) for May 2025 delivery rose by ¥ 0.7 (0.2%), reaching ¥ 308.2/kg.
Meanwhile, on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), natural rubber for May 2025 delivery climbed by CNY 25 (0.2%), reaching CNY 14,505/kg.
Global rubber prices continue to rise slightly today, May 12, 2025. Over the past week, the global rubber market has experienced mixed movements. Specifically, the Japanese market surged by more than 4.5%, while the Chinese market fell by 0.38%.
Recently, the U.S. Department of Commerce proposed a 125% countervailing duty on passenger and light truck tires produced by Jiangsu General Science.
This is a preliminary decision; a final determination will be made after considering input from relevant stakeholders.
Thus, global rubber prices on May 12, 2025, rose slightly compared to the previous session.
In the domestic market, latex rubber prices remained unchanged from the previous day.

According to the latest listed prices, at Mang Yang Company, raw rubber latex costs VND 397 – 401/TSC, while mixed coagulated latex costs around VND 359 – 409/DRC.
At Ba Ria Rubber Company, the purchasing price of fresh latex is VND 462/TSC, coagulated latex with DRC from 35–44% is at VND 13,600/kg; raw material latex is priced between VND 16,900 – 18,200/kg.
The latest quotation from Phu Rieng Rubber Company fluctuates around VND 400/DRC for mixed latex and VND 440/TSC for fresh latex.
Last week, the domestic latex market slightly declined by VND 18.5–20 at Mang Yang Company, but remained flat at other companies.
Thus, rubber prices in the domestic market today, May 12, 2025, range from VND 397 – 462/TSC.
