(VAN) Coffee prices on April 17, 2025, maintain their upward momentum. Domestic prices rose by VND 1,600, reaching the range of VND 132,600–133,600/kg.

Globally, both the London and New York exchanges continued to maintain their upward momentum on April 17, 2025.

Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for May 2025 delivery increased by $ 15 (equivalent to 0.28%), reaching $ 5,388/ton. The July 2025 contract rose by $ 39 (equivalent to 0.73%) to $ 5,379/ton.

On the New York exchange, Arabica prices for May 2025 delivery surged by 6.65 cents (equivalent to 1.8%) to 376.05 cents/lb. The July 2025 contract also saw a strong increase of 6.65 cents (equivalent to 1.81%), reaching 373.80 cents/lb.

In Dak Nong Province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are transacting at VND 133,600/kg and VND 133,500/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai Province, Chu Prong District is trading at VND 133,600/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are holding steady at VND 133,500/kg.

Meanwhile, the purchasing price for coffee in Kon Tum today is VND 133,500/kg.

Domestic coffee prices today marked the third consecutive day of strong gains, increasing by VND 1,300–1,600. As a result, this agricultural product has moved closer to the high mark of VND 134,000/kg.

Thus, domestic coffee prices on April 17, 2025, are being traded in the range of VND 132,600–133,600/kg.
