On the global market, rubber prices are experiencing strong volatility.
At the time of the survey, RSS3 rubber on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) for May 2025 delivery fell by JPY 4.8 (1.51%) to JPY 323/kg.
Meanwhile, on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), natural rubber for June 2025 delivery dropped sharply by CNY 265 (1.82%) to CNY 14,310/kg.
In Thailand, the rubber price for June contracts increased by THB 0.55 (0.7%) to THB 74.95/kg.
Global rubber prices today continue to drop sharply in Japan and China but rise slightly in Thailand.
The decline in major markets is due to uncertainties in U.S. trade policy with the EU. However, the drop is limited by positive developments in crude oil prices.
Thus, global rubber prices on May 27, 2025, remain down compared to yesterday.
In the domestic market, latex prices remain unchanged compared to yesterday.
Purchasing prices continue to trade around the range of VND 397 to VND 462/TSC.
Latest domestic and global rubber prices on May 27, 2025
According to the latest listed prices, the purchasing price of raw latex at Mang Yang Company ranges from VND 397 to VND 401/TSC, while mixed coagulated latex is being bought at around VND 359 to VND 409/DRC.
At Ba Ria Rubber Company, the purchase price of fresh latex is VND 462/TSC, coagulated latex with a DRC content of 35–44% is priced at VND 13,600/kg, and raw latex materials are trading between VND 16,900 and VND 18,200/kg.
The most recent price quotation from Phu Rieng Rubber Company shows the price for mixed latex at VND 405/DRC and fresh latex at VND 440/TSC.
Thus, as of May 27, 2025, domestic rubber prices are trading around the range of VND 397 to VND 462/TSC.
