Specifically, the price of black pepper (Lampung) in Indonesia holds at $ 7,470/ton, while white pepper (Muntok) remains at $ 10,185/ton.

In Malaysia, black pepper (Kuching ASTA) is priced at $ 9,150/ton, and white pepper (ASTA) is at $ 11,850/ton.

In Brazil, black pepper (ASTA 570) is trading at $ 6,650/ton.

In Vietnam, the export price for black pepper with a density of 500 g/l is $ 6,700/ton, while the 550 g/l grade is priced at $ 6,800/ton. White pepper for export remains at $ 9,700/ton.

Thus, global pepper prices today, May 28, 2025, are stable compared to yesterday.

Pepper prices on May 28 domestically

In the domestic market, pepper prices have rebounded today compared to the previous day.

In Dak Lak, pepper prices increased by VND 1,500, bringing the trading level up to VND 148,000/kg.

Similarly, in Dak Nong, prices also reached VND 148,000/kg.

In Gia Lai, pepper is trading at VND 147,000/kg, up VND 1,000.

In Dong Nai, traders raised purchase prices by VND 1,000, now buying at VND 147,000/kg.

In Ba Ria – Vung Tau, prices climbed to VND 147,000/kg, an increase of VND 1,000.

Meanwhile, in Binh Phuoc, traders continue to purchase pepper at VND 147,000/kg.

Today, domestic pepper prices have surged by VND 1,000 – VND 1,500, bringing this agricultural product back up to VND 148,000/kg.

Thus, on May 28, 2025, domestic pepper prices in Vietnam are trading in the range of VND 147,000 to VND 148,000/kg.
