Pepper prices on November 3 globally

Globally, pepper prices on November 3 remain stable.

Specifically, the price of Lampung black pepper in Indonesia is $ 6,683/ton, while Muntok white pepper from the country is priced at $ 9,150/ton.

In Malaysia, the price for Kuching ASTA black pepper is $ 8,500/ton, and for white ASTA pepper, it stands at $ 11,000/ton.

In Brazil, the price for ASTA 570 black pepper is trading at $ 6,400/ton.

In Vietnam, the export price for black pepper of type 500 g/l is $ 6,500/ton, while type 550 g/l is priced at $ 6,800/ton. The export price for white pepper is currently at $ 9,500/ton.

Today, global pepper prices remain stable. This week, the market showed mixed fluctuations.

Specifically, Indonesian pepper prices continued to decline slightly by 0.6% compared to last week, while other markets remained unchanged.

Thus, on 11/03/2024, there were no new fluctuations in global pepper prices compared to yesterday.

Domestic pepper prices on November 3 remain stable compared to the previous day.

Specifically, Dak Lak continues to purchase pepper at VND 141,000/kg.

In Dak Nong, pepper prices also hold steady at VND 141,000/kg.

Gia Lai maintains pepper prices at VND 140,000/kg.

Similarly, traders in Dong Nai are purchasing pepper at VND 140,000/kg.

In Ba Ria-Vung Tau, prices remain at VND 141,000/kg.

Traders in Binh Phuoc are buying pepper at VND 140,000/kg.

Today, domestic pepper prices have not seen any new fluctuations, with the highest price at VND 141,000/kg. This week, the domestic pepper price has dropped by an additional VND 2,000 - 2,500.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development reported that in the first 10 months of 2024, Vietnam exported approximately 220,300 tons of pepper, with an estimated value of 1.12 billion USD. Although the export volume of pepper decreased by 2.3% compared to the same period last year, the value increased significantly by 48.2%.

The average export price of pepper in the first 10 months of 2024 is estimated at 5,084 USD/ton, up 51.7% compared to the same period in 2023.

Thus, on 11/03/2024, domestic pepper prices are trading around VND 140,000 - 141,000/kg.
