Latest domestic and global pepper prices on 11/01/2024
On the global market, pepper prices have rebounded in Indonesia.
Specifically, the price of black pepper from Lampung, Indonesia, rose by 0.16% to $ 6,691/ton, while Muntok white pepper from the country increased by 0.17% to $ 9,160/ton.
In Malaysia, Kuching ASTA black pepper is priced at $ 8,500/ton, and ASTA white pepper is at $ 11,000/ton.
In Brazil, ASTA 570 black pepper is trading at $ 6,400/ton.
In Vietnam, export prices for black pepper are at $ 6,500/ton for 500 g/l and $ 6,800/ton for 550 g/l grades, while white pepper for export is at $ 9,500/ton.
Global pepper prices today increased slightly in Indonesia but remained unchanged in other markets.
Thus, on 11/01/2024, global pepper prices saw a slight rise in Indonesia compared to yesterday.
Domestically, domestic pepper prices dropped sharply today compared to yesterday.
Specifically, in Dak Lak, prices fell by VND 2,500, with pepper purchased at VND 142,000/kg;
Similarly, in Dak Nong, the price of pepper is currently at VND 142,500/kg, down VND 2,000;
In Gia Lai, pepper prices also decreased by VND 2,000, dropping to VND 141,000/kg;
Likewise, traders in Dong Nai purchased pepper at VND 141,000/kg;
In Ba Ria - Vung Tau, the price of pepper is now only VND 142,000/kg, after a drop of VND 2,000;
In Binh Phuoc, traders are buying pepper at VND 141,000/kg, a decrease of VND 2,000.
Domestic pepper prices today have dropped by as much as VND 2,500. This significant price decline has pushed pepper down to around VND 142,000/kg. In total, for October 2024, domestic pepper prices have decreased by up to VND 7,000/kg.
Thus, on 11/01/2024, domestic pepper prices are trading in the range of VND 141,000 - 142,500/kg.
