Globally, pepper prices showed slight fluctuations.
Accordingly, the price of black pepper from Lampung, Indonesia, increased slightly by 0.18%, reaching $ 6,680/ton. Meanwhile, the price of Muntok white pepper from Indonesia fell by 0.17%, to $ 9,144/ton.
The price of Kuching black pepper (ASTA grade) from Malaysia is $ 8,500/ton, while ASTA white pepper from Malaysia is priced at $ 11,000/ton.
In the Brazilian market, ASTA 570 black pepper is trading at $ 6,400/ton.
In Vietnam, export prices for black pepper of the 500 g/l grade are trading at $ 6,500/ton, while the 550 g/l grade is priced at $ 6,800/ton. White pepper for export is currently at $ 9,500/ton.
Global pepper prices fluctuated in Indonesia, while other countries remained stable.
In the first nine months of the year, China imported 8,140 tons of pepper, valued at $ 40.6 million, representing an increase of 18.2% in volume and 37.9% in value compared to the same period last year.
Indonesia led in supplying pepper to China in the first nine months of the year, with a volume of 4,617 tons, a significant increase of 43% year-on-year, accounting for 56.7% of the market's import volume.
Vietnam ranked second with a supply volume of 2,520 tons, up 3.2%, capturing 31% of the market share.
China has fallen from the first position to the fifth-largest export market for Vietnamese pepper. China's share of total Vietnamese pepper exports has also decreased from 27.2% to only 4.4%.

In the domestic market, pepper prices on October 31 remained unchanged compared to yesterday.

In Gia Lai, pepper is trading at VND 143,000/kg; traders in Dong Nai continue to purchase at VND 143,000/kg;
In Ba Ria - Vung Tau, prices are around VND 144,000/kg;
Traders in Binh Phuoc are trading at VND 143,000/kg.
Today, domestic pepper prices remain stable, with the highest price at VND 144,500/kg.
