In Vietnam, export prices for black pepper of the 500 g/l grade are trading at $ 6,500/ton, while the 550 g/l grade is priced at $ 6,800/ton. White pepper for export is currently at $ 9,500/ton.
Global pepper prices fluctuated in Indonesia, while other countries remained stable.
In the first nine months of the year, China imported 8,140 tons of pepper, valued at $ 40.6 million, representing an increase of 18.2% in volume and 37.9% in value compared to the same period last year.
Indonesia led in supplying pepper to China in the first nine months of the year, with a volume of 4,617 tons, a significant increase of 43% year-on-year, accounting for 56.7% of the market's import volume.
