Live pig prices on January 5 in the North

The live pig market in the North remains stable compared to yesterday. Prices in the North have seen a slight increase this week.

Accordingly, traders in Bac Giang, Lao Cai, Vinh Phuc, and Tuyen Quang have increased prices by VND 1,000.

Other regions have not seen any changes in pig prices compared to last week.

Thus, live pig prices in the North on January 5, 2025, are trading at VND 67,000 - 69,000/kg.

Live pig prices on January 5 in the Central and Central Highlands

The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions remains unchanged compared to yesterday. Prices in this area have continued to rise this week.

Specifically, traders in Nghe An and Binh Thuan have increased prices by VND 2,000, buying at VND 68,000/kg.

Except for Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue, and Ninh Thuan where prices remain stable, other regions have all increased by VND 1,000 compared to last week.

Thus, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on January 5, 2025, are being bought around VND 66,000 - 68,000/kg.

The live pig market in the South has shown no new fluctuations compared to yesterday. Prices in the South have risen sharply this week.

Specifically, traders in Tien Giang have increased prices by VND 4,000, reaching VND 68,000/kg.

Prices in Kien Giang and Tra Vinh have increased by VND 3,000, now trading at VND 67,000/kg.

Except for Vung Tau, Long An, An Giang, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Hau Giang, and Ca Mau where prices remain unchanged, other regions have increased by VND 1,000 - 2,000.

Thus, live pig prices in the South on January 5, 2025, are trading between VND 66,000 - 69,000/kg.
