In the world market, coffee prices today, September 7, increase in two large exchanges.

After the latest session, the Robusta coffee futures price in ICE Futures Europe (London) exchange for November 2021 contracts is up by US$ 23 per ton at US$ 2,082 per ton and up by US$ 16 per ton at US$ 2,041 per ton for January 2022 contracts.

The Arabica coffee futures price in ICE Futures US (New York) for December 2021 contracts keeps at Cent 193.0 per pound and at Cent 195.7 per pound for March 2022 contracts.

In the domestic market, coffee prices today, September 7, also increase slightly compared to yesterday.

Specifically, coffee prices today in Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts of Lam Dong province is VND 39,400 per kilogram, increasing by VND 200.

In Dak Lak province, coffee prices are VND 40,200-40,300 per kilogram, increasing by VND 200.

In Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces, coffee is purchased at VND 40,100-40,200 per kilogram, increasing by VND 200.

In the world market, pepper prices today, September 7, at Kochi exchange (India), keep unchanged compared to the latest session, at INR 41,300 per quintal. India is still temporarily suspending transactions due to no customers due to Covid-19.

In the domestic market, pepper prices suddenly increase sharply by VND 1,500-2,500 per kilogram in most provinces compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the pepper price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is at VND 77,000 per kilogram, increasing by VND 2,500.

In Dong Nai province, the pepper price is VND 75,000 per kilogram, increasing by VND 2,000.

The pepper price is VND 76,000 per kilogram in Gia Lai province, increasing by VND 2,500.

The pepper price in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province is at the highest of VND 78,500 per kilogram, increasing by VND 1,500.

The pepper price in Binh Phuoc province keeps at VND 77,500 per kilogram, increasing by VND 2,000.

The pepper export volume in August 2021 reached approximately 17 thousand tons - the lowest level since February 2021, worth US$ 63.13 million, down 35.8% in volume and down 33.6% in value compared to July 2021. Compared to August 2020, there is a decrease of 2.4% in volume, but a sharp increase of 45.8% in value.

Generally, in the first 8 months of 2021, pepper exports are estimated to reach over 197 thousand tons, worth US$ 654.6 million, down 2.3% in volume, but up 47.6% in value over the same period in 2020.

Rubber prices

In the world market, rubber prices increase in exchanges compared to the last session.

In Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM), the futures rubber price for September 7021 contracts is down by JPY 0.1 at JPY 195.2 per kilogram, up by 0.5 JPY at JPY 199.5 per kilogram for October 2021 contracts, and down by JPY 0.2 at JPY 204.2 per kilogram for November 2021 contracts.

In Shanghai Commodity Futures Exchange (SHFE), the futures rubber price for September 7021 contracts is up by CNY 175 at CNY 12,975 per ton, up by CNY 150 at CNY 12,985 per ton for October 2021 contracts, and up by CNY 95 at CNY 12,975 per ton for November 2021 contracts.

According to the Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), In August 2021, Vietnam's rubber exports reached about 200,000 tons, worth US$ 328 million, down 2.2% in volume and 3% in value compared to July 2021. Compared with August 2020, it decreased by 10.3% in volume but increased by 19.6% in value. The average export price was at US$ 1,640 per ton, down 0.8% compared to July 2021, but up 33.2% compared to August 2020.

In the domestic, rubber prices are stable compared to yesterday.

Fresh rubber latex prices in Binh Phuoc province range from VND 315-320 per TSC-DRC.

Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Limited Liability Company, Binh Phuoc province, publishes the fresh rubber latex price at VND 325 per TSC-DRC.

In Dak Lak province, the rubber latex price is VND 16,000-18,000 per kilogram, depending on the type.

The fresh 8 fragrant paddy is VND 5,600-5,800 per kilogram.

The fresh OM 6976 paddy price is VND 5,100-5,200 per kilogram.
