In the world market, coffee prices today, September 6, keep unchanged in two large exchanges.

After the latest session, the Robusta coffee futures price in ICE Futures Europe (London) exchange for November 2021 contracts is up by US$ 3 per ton at US$ 2,059 per ton and up by US$ 4 per ton at US$ 2,025 per ton for January 2022 contracts.

Conversely, the Arabica coffee futures price in ICE Futures US (New York) for December 2021 contracts is down by Cent 1.35 per pound at Cent 193.0 per pound and down by Cent 1.35 per pound at Cent 195.7 per pound for March 2022 contracts.

Robusta coffee prices have increased continuously for the past 4 weeks due to fears of an outbreak of the Covid-19 disease in Robusta producing countries in Southeast Asia, causing exports to stall due to social distancing. Sea freight rates are also extremely high, so most exporters are not interested in delivering at this time.

In the domestic market, coffee prices today, September 6, move sideways compared to yesterday.

Specifically, coffee prices today in Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts of Lam Dong province is VND 39,200 per kilogram.

In Dak Lak province, coffee prices are VND 40,000-40,100 per kilogram.

In Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces, coffee is purchased at VND 39,900-40,000 per kilogram.

In the world market, pepper prices today, September 6, at Kochi exchange (India), keep unchanged compared to the latest session, at INR 41,300 per quintal. India is still temporarily suspending transactions due to no customers due to Covid-19.

In the domestic market, pepper prices are unchanged in most provinces compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the pepper price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is at VND 74,500 per kilogram.

In Dong Nai province, the pepper price is VND 73,000 per kilogram.

The pepper price is VND 73,500 in Gia Lai province.

The pepper price in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province keeps at the highest of VND 77,000.

The pepper price in Binh Phuoc province keeps at VND 75,500 per kilogram.

According to the Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA), the rubber import demand of major markets such as the European Union (EU), China, the US, and India is expected to continue its upward trend thanks to the economic growth in other countries. These countries are gradually recovering due to the easing of blockade measures.

However, Vietnam's rubber exports in August 2021 have been affected by many businesses having to suspend production due to being located in a blockaded area, or production is affected by workers leaving, being isolated in an epidemic area...

In the world market, rubber prices increase in exchanges compared to the last session.

In Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM), the futures rubber price for September 6021 contracts is up by JPY 2.3 at JPY 195.3 per kilogram, up by 2.0 JPY at JPY 199.0 per kilogram for October 2021 contracts, and up by JPY 2.7 at JPY 204.4 per kilogram for November 2021 contracts.

In Shanghai Commodity Futures Exchange (SHFE), the futures rubber price for September 6021 contracts is up by CNY 120 at CNY 12,955 per ton, up by CNY 95 at CNY 12,945 per ton for October 2021 contracts, and up by CNY 95 at CNY 12,920 per ton for November 2021 contracts.

In the domestic, rubber prices are stable compared to yesterday.

Fresh rubber latex prices in Binh Phuoc province range from VND 320-327 per TSC-DRC.

Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Limited Liability Company, Binh Phuoc province, publishes the fresh rubber latex price at VND 325 per TSC-DRC.

In Dak Lak province, the rubber latex price is VND 16,000-18,000 per kilogram, depending on the type.

Rice prices

In An Giang province, rice prices today, September 6, continue to keep stable in most types compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the sticky paddy price is VND 4,300-4,400 per kilogram.

The fresh OM 9582 paddy price is VND 4,800-4,900 per kilogram.
