The rice market on January 14 saw a slight decrease in rice prices, while paddy prices remained stable.

The paddy price today (January 14) has shown little change. In many regions, transactions have slowed down due to the continuous fluctuation of rice prices.

  • Sticky rice IR 4625 (fresh) is priced at VND 8,100 - VND 8,200/kg; the price of fresh 3-month-old sticky rice is currently VND 8,100 - VND 8,300/kg.
  • Paddy IR 50404 is priced around VND 7,200 - VND 7,300/kg; Dai Thom 8 paddy is holding at VND 7,600 - VND 7,800/kg.
  • OM 5451 paddy is being traded at VND 7,400 - VND 7,600/kg; OM 18 paddy has a price range of VND 7,600 - VND 7,800/kg.
  • OM 380 paddy remains at VND 6,600 - VND 6,700/kg; Japanese paddy is holding steady at VND 7,800 - VND 8,000/kg.
  • Nang Nhen (dry) paddy is being traded at VND 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa 9 paddy has a price of VND 9,200/kg.

The rice prices today (January 14) is slightly down, and new transactions continue to slow, with many warehouses closing early for Tet.
