In the world market, coffee prices today, August 17, turn to increase in two large exchanges.
After the latest session, the Robusta coffee futures price in ICE Futures Europe (London) exchange for September 2021 contracts is up by US$ 20 per ton at US$ 1,848 per ton and up by US$ 17 per ton at US$ 1,853 per ton for November 2021 contracts.
Likewise, the Arabica coffee futures price in ICE Futures US (New York) for September 2021 contracts is up by Cent 0.35 per pound at Cent 183.1 per pound and down by Cent 0.4 per pound at Cent 186.15 per pound for December 2021 contracts.
In the domestic market, coffee prices today, August 17, go up by VND 300-400 in most key provinces compared to yesterday morning, in the range of VND 36,800-37,700 per kilogram.
Specifically, coffee prices today in Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts of Lam Dong province is VND 36,800 per kilogram, a VND 400 increase.
In Dak Lak province, coffee prices are VND 37,600-37,700 per kilogram, a VND 300 increase.
In Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces, coffee is purchased at VND 37,500-37,600 per kilogram, a VND 300 increase.
In the world market, pepper prices today, August 17, at Kochi exchange (India), move sideways compared to the latest session, at INR 41,300 per quintal.
In the domestic market, pepper prices decrease by VND 500 in key provinces, ranging from VND 76,000-78,500 per kilogram.
Specifically, the pepper price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is at VND 77,000, a VND 500 decrease.
In Dong Nai province, the pepper price is VND 76,000 per kilogram.
The pepper price in Gia Lai province is VND 77,000 per kilogram, a VND 500 decrease.
After a 500 decrease, the pepper price in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province keeps at the highest of VND 78,500, followed by the price at Binh Phuoc at VND 77,500 per kilogram.
In August 2021, pepper prices in the domestic market have increased sharply compared to the end of July 2021.
Pepper's export value in August reached US$ 95.13 million, down US$ 23.57 million, or 19.85% than the previous month, but increased by US$ 50.26 million, or 112.03% compared to the same period of last year. It is due to the record increase in pepper prices in July in the past 7 years.

In Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM), the futures rubber price for August 2021 contracts is up by JPY 0.6 at JPY 2101.5 per kilogram, but down by JPY 0.4 at JPY 214.3 per kilogram for September 2021 contracts, and up by JPY 0.1 at JPY 217.3 per kilogram for October 2021 contracts.
In Shanghai Commodity Futures Exchange (SHFE), the futures rubber price for August 2021 contracts is CNY 13,430 per ton, but up by CNY 30 at CNY 13,555 per ton for September 2021 contracts, and up by CNY 20 at CNY 13,630 per ton for October 2021 contracts.
In the Asian market, rubber prices increased again due to improved demand in China, India, the US, and Europe based on the recovery of the global economy.
Meanwhile, the rubber supply is being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in major natural rubber-producing countries and the global disruption of the logistics industry.
In the domestic, rubber prices are stable compared to yesterday.
Fresh rubber latex prices in Binh Phuoc province range from VND 310-315 per TSC-DRC.
Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Limited Liability Company, Binh Phuoc province, publishes the fresh rubber latex price at VND 325 per TSC-DRC.
In Dak Lak province, the rubber latex price is VND 16,000-18,000 per kilogram, depending on the type.

The OM 5451 paddy price is VND 5,300-5,500 per kilogram, a VND 100-200 per kilogram.
The fresh OM 18 paddy price is VND 6,000-6,100 VND per kilogram.
The fresh IR 50404 paddy price is VND 4,700-5,000 VND per kilogram, a VND 100 increase.
The fresh OM 9582 paddy price is VND 5,000-5,200 per kilogram, a VND 100 increase.
The fresh OM 6976 paddy price is VND 5,100-5,300 per kilogram, a VND 100 increase.
The fresh Japanese paddy price is VND 7,500-7,600 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.
