(VAN) August 9, 2021, live pork prices are adjusted oppositely in three regions, while white shrimp turn to increase compared to yesterday.

Livestock and fishery commodity prices today, August 9, are stable for the fish market, only increase white shrimp prices. Live pork prices change oppositely from the North to the South.

Live pork prices

Live pork prices today, August 9, in the Northern market, increase by VND 1,000 per kilogram in most provinces compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the live pork price is the North’s lowest of VND 51,000 in Tuyen Quang province.

After a VND 1,000 increase, the live pork price in Thai Nguyen province is the highest of VND 55,000 per kilogram.

In Tuyen Quang province, the live pork price keeps the lowest of VND 51,000 per kilogram.

Traders in the remaining provinces purchase live pork at VND 54,000 per kilogram.

In North Central Coast and Central Highlands, live pork prices today change oppositely compared to yesterday, in the range of VND 52,000-55,000 per kilogram.

The live pork price is VND 55,000 per kilogram in Thanh Hoa, after an increase of VND 1,000 per kilogram, the same in Thua Thien Hue and Ninh Thuan provinces.

In contrast, as Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dak Lak and Binh Thuan province, the live pork price is VND 53,000 per kilogram, after a VND 1,000 decrease.

In the South, live pork prices decrease in some provinces compared to yesterday, in the range of VND 50,000-53,000 per kilogram.

After a VND 1,000 decrease, live pork prices are ranging from VND 51,000-53,000 in Binh Duong and Hau Giang provinces.

The lowest price is still recognized in Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces, at VND 50,000per kilogram, a VND 1,000 decrease.

White shrimp prices

In Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces, white shrimp prices today, August 9, increase in most types compared to yesterday, in the range of VND 86,500-217,000, depending on types.

Specifically, the white shrimp price is VND 197,000-217,000 per kilogram for the size of 20 pieces, a VND 5,000 increase.

For the size of 25 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 155,000-160,000 per kilogram, a VND 10,000 increase.

For the size of 30 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 128,000-134,000 per kilogram, a VND 2,000 decrease.

For the size of 50 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 94,000-96,000 per kilogram, a VND 3,500 increase.

For the size of 60 pieces, the white shrimp is VND 86,500-87,500 per kilogram.

Pangasius prices

In the past three months, the price of pangasius and breeds has decreased by 30-50% in the Mekong Delta due to the export market facing many difficulties. According to the Vietnam Pangasius Association, in the first two months of the year, pangasius prices were at high about VND 30,000-31,000 per kilogram, but now only VND 20,500-22,500.

In Dong Thap, An Giang, Can Tho and Hau Giang provinces, pangasius prices today, August 9, are VND 21,000-22,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Prices for pangasius breeds with the size of 30-35 pieces are VND 19,500-20,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Snakehead prices

In Dong Thap, An Giang, and Tra Vinh provinces, snakehead prices today, August 9, are VND 44,000-45,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Prices for snakehead breeds with the size of 500-700 pieces are VND 200-300 per piece, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Red tilapia prices

In Dong Thap, An Giang, Vinh Long and Hau Giang provinces, red tilapia prices today, August 9, are VND 34,000-35,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Prices for red tilapia breeds with the size of 30-40 pieces are VND 22,000-25,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Bronze featherback prices

In Dong Thap, An Giang, Vinh Long and Hau Giang provinces, bronze featherback prices today, August 9, are VND 45,000-46,000 per kilogram, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Prices for red tilapia breeds with the size of 200 pieces are VND 1,600 per piece, unchanged compared to yesterday.
