Live pig prices on October 5 in the North

The live pig market in the Northern region remains stable compared to yesterday.

Accordingly, all localities, including Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Thai Nguyen, and Hanoi, continue to trade live pigs at VND 69,000/kg—the highest in the region.

Meanwhile, the live pig prices in other localities are at VND 68,000/kg.

Thus, the live pig prices in the Northern region on 10/05/2024, are trading at levels of VND 68,000 - 69,000/kg.

Live pig prices on October 5 in the Central and Central Highlands

The live pig market in the Central region and Central Highlands remains stable compared to yesterday.

Specifically, the prices in Thua Thien Hue and Ninh Thuan are still purchasing at VND 64,000/kg—the lowest in the region.

The remaining localities are trading live pig prices within the range of VND 65,000 - 68,000/kg.

Thus, the live pig prices in the Central region and Central Highlands on 10/05/2024, are purchasing around VND 64,000 - 68,000/kg.

Live pig prices on October 5 in the South

In this region, the provinces of Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, and Dong Thap all maintain a price of VND 66,000/kg - the highest in the area.

Prices in other localities are still at VND 64,000 - 65,000/kg.

Thus, the live pig prices in the Southern region on 10/05/2024, are trading within the range of VND 64,000 - 66,000/kg.
