Coffee prices on November 14, 2024 globally

Globally, both the London and New York exchanges continued to rise sharply on November 14.

On the London exchange, Robusta prices for January 2025 delivery increased by $ 95 (equivalent to 2.09%), reaching $ 4,632/ton. The March 2025 delivery contract also rose by $ 91 (equivalent to 2.04%), standing at $ 4,552/ton.

Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica prices for December 2024 delivery climbed by 8.1 cents (equivalent to 3.07%), reaching 271.65 cents/lb. The March 2025 delivery contract increased by an additional 8.1 cents (equivalent to 3.08%), standing at 271.20 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices saw a third consecutive day of sharp increases. Arabica prices have been bolstered by the ongoing hot and dry conditions in Brazil, where coffee growers are also limiting sales in anticipation of higher prices.

Meanwhile, the European Union Parliament’s vote on the potential delay of the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) started discussions on November 13, with a final vote expected by the end of November 14. The coffee industry, along with cocoa, livestock, timber, palm oil, soybean, and rubber industries, will be closely monitoring developments in the coming days.

Thus, global coffee prices on November 14, 2024, continued to see strong growth compared to the previous day.

Coffee prices on November 14 domestically

Domestically, the coffee market in Vietnam on November 14 rose by VND 500 compared to yesterday.

Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 111,100/kg.

In Dak Lak province, the Cu M'gar district buys coffee at VND 111,300/kg, while the Ea H'leo and Buon Ho districts trade at VND 111,200/kg.

In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap are trading at VND 111,400 and VND 111,300/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 111,300/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are both at VND 111,200/kg.

The purchase price of coffee in Kon Tum province today is VND 111,200/kg.

Domestic coffee prices today continue their upward trend and are holding firmly at the VND 111,000/kg level.

Thus, domestic coffee prices on November 14, 2024, are trading around VND 111,100 - 111,400/kg.
