Global coffee prices continue their strong upward trend today, driven by unfavourable monetary factors as the USD remains at a high level.

Additionally, Vietnam’s coffee export figures have been low in recent months, intensifying concerns about supply. In October 2024, Vietnam exported only 44,000 tons. For the first 10 months of 2024, total exports reached just 1.15 million tons, a decrease of 11.2% compared to the same period last year.

On top of this, continuous storms with heavy rains targeting Vietnam's key growing regions have raised further concerns about potential supply disruptions.

Thus, global coffee prices on November 13, 2024, have continued to rise sharply compared to yesterday.
