The domestic market on March 29 decreased sharply by VND 1,100/kg compared to yesterday.

Previously, the increase in this agricultural product came from Vicofa predicting that our country's 2023/24 export season would decrease by 20% compared to the previous crop year, down to 1.336 million tons due to dry weather reducing coffee productivity and output.
According to Mr. Le Duc Huy - General Director of 2/9 Dak Lak Import-Export Company Limited (Simexco Dak Lak), with the current high price situation, the unit will only receive more orders if there are positive signs from the supply from farmers.
However, the amount stored by the people has begun to run out and is scarce. Considering the unfavourable weather situation for crops, it is forecasted that in the upcoming crop season, the output of this agricultural product will decrease, leading to scarce supply, this is the biggest concern of businesses.
Thus, the domestic coffee price on 03/29/2024 is trading around the threshold of VND 98,200 - 98,600/kg.
