Latest coffee prices on New York and London exchange

World coffee prices today are still maintaining stable. Last week, the global coffee market increased sharply.

In which, the London exchange had 2 gaining sessions and 3 decreasing sessions. The price of Robusta coffee for September delivery increased to $ 13/ton. The New York exchange had 3 gaining sessions and 1 falling session. The price of Arabica coffee for September delivery increased by 1.9 cents/lb

According to experts, the market is still concerned about supply shortages in the short and medium term. The main coffee producers such as Brazil, Vietnam, and Indonesia show signs of exhaustion. Taking advantage of this, investors pushed the price of Robusta to skyrocket in the last session of the week.

As of the end of last week, the inventory of Robusta coffee certified and tracked by the London exchange had decreased by 14,070 tons, or 19.03% from a week earlier, to registered at 59,880 tons (equivalent to 998,000 tons, 60 kg/bag).

Experts found that this inventory is at a low level since mid-February 2023. The context of increasing demand for arabica coffee substitutes causes Robusta coffee to be higher.

Thus, the price of coffee on 07/10/2023 in the world market remained stable compared to yesterday.
