In the world market, coffee prices today, September 9, decrease sharply in two large exchanges.

After the latest session, the Robusta coffee futures price in ICE Futures Europe (London) exchange for November 2021 contracts is down by US$ 25 per ton at US$ 2,077 per ton and down by US$ 14 per ton at US$ 2,055 per ton for January 2022 contracts.

Likewise, the Arabica coffee futures price in ICE Futures US (New York) for December 2021 contracts is down by Cent 5.6 to Cent 188.35 per pound and up by Cent 5.65 to Cent 191.0 per pound for March 2022 contracts.

Robusta coffee prices today turned back to fall quite deeply, after rising above the US$ 2,100 per ton - the highest level in the past 4 years in the previous session. Arabica coffee prices also have a deep decline, following the forecast of abundant rainfall starting the spring rain - the flowering season of Conilon Robusta coffee trees in the lowlands, from next week.

According to experts' forecasts, today's sharp drop is likely to be in a downward correction,  because both world coffee exchanges have entered the overbought zone.

In the domestic market, coffee prices today, September 9, drop slightly by VND 300 per kilogram compared to yesterday.

Specifically, coffee prices today in Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts of Lam Dong province is VND 39,100 per kilogram, decreasing by VND 300.

In Dak Lak province, coffee prices are VND 39,900-40,000 per kilogram, decreasing by VND 300.

In Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces, coffee is purchased at VND 39,800-39,900 per kilogram, decreasing by VND 300.

Pepper prices today, September 9: are pretty stable, excluding the increase by VND 500 in Binh Phuoc.

In the world market, pepper prices today, September 9, at Kochi exchange (India), keep unchanged compared to the latest session, at INR 41,300 per quintal. India is still temporarily suspending transactions due to no customers due to Covid-19.

According to the Import and Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), in August 2021, the global export price of pepper continued to increase in some major producing countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, India, and Malaysia but was stable in Brazil.

In the domestic market, pepper prices also move sideways in most provinces compared to yesterday, excluding the increase by VND 500 in Binh Phuoc province.

Specifically, the pepper price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is at VND 77,500 per kilogram.

The pepper price is VND 76,500 per kilogram in Gia Lai province.

In Dong Nai province, the pepper price is VND 75,500 per kilogram.

The pepper price in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province is at the highest of VND 79,500 per kilogram.

The pepper price in Binh Phuoc province is VND 78,000 per kilogram, increasing by VND 500.

In the world market, rubber prices decrease in exchanges compared to the last session.

In Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM), the futures rubber price for September 9021 contracts is down by JPY 4.8 at JPY 188.7 per kilogram, down by 7.9 JPY at JPY 190.5 per kilogram for October 2021 contracts, and down by JPY 7.3 at JPY 194.4 per kilogram for November 2021 contracts.

In Shanghai Commodity Futures Exchange (SHFE), the futures rubber price for September 9021 contracts is CNY 12,975 per ton, at CNY 12,985 per ton for October 2021 contracts, and at CNY 12,975 per ton for November 2021 contracts.

In the domestic, rubber prices are stable compared to yesterday.

Fresh rubber latex prices in Binh Phuoc province range from VND 315-320 per TSC-DRC.

Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Limited Liability Company, Binh Phuoc province, publishes the fresh rubber latex price at VND 325 per TSC-DRC.

In Dak Lak province, the rubber latex price is VND 16,000-18,000 per kilogram, depending on the type.

The fresh 8 fragrant paddy is VND 5,600-5,800 per kilogram.

The fresh OM 6976 paddy price is VND 5,100-5,200 per kilogram.

The fresh Japanese paddy price is VND 7,500-7,600 per kilogram.
