After the latest session, the Robusta coffee futures price in ICE Futures Europe (London) exchange for September 2021 contracts is up by US$ 22 per ton at US$ 1,861 per ton and up by US$ 32 per ton at US$ 1,877 per ton for November 2021 contracts.
Likewise, the Arabica coffee futures price in ICE Futures US (New York) for September 2021 contracts is up by Cent 0.75 per pound at Cent 179.7 per pound and up by Cent 0.85 per pound at Cent 182.0 per pound for December 2021 contracts.
In June 2021, the average Arabica coffee export price was US$ 2,873 per tonne, the highest level in recent years, up 33% compared to June 2020.
In the first 6 months of this year, the average Arabica coffee export price was US$ 2,735 per tonne, up 17.5% over the same period in 2020. It is recorded at the high growth rates in markets such as Germany, Belgium, France, Russia.
In the domestic market, coffee prices today, August 19, go up by VND 200-300 in most key provinces compared to yesterday morning, in the range of VND 37,300-38,200 per kilogram.
Specifically, coffee prices today in Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts of Lam Dong province is VND 37,300 per kilogram, a VND 400 increase.
In Dak Lak province, coffee prices are VND 38,100-38,200 per kilogram, a VND 200 increase.
In Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces, coffee is purchased at VND 38,000-38,100 per kilogram, a VND 300 increase.
In the world market, pepper prices today, August 19, at Kochi exchange (India), keep unchanged compared to the latest session, at INR 41,300 per quintal.
In the domestic market, pepper prices keep stable in key provinces, ranging from VND 76,500-79,500 per kilogram.
Specifically, the pepper price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is at VND 77,500 per kilogram.
In Dong Nai and Gia Lai province, the pepper price is VND 76,500 per kilogram.
Pepper prices today, August 19, keep stable in key provinces with the highest of VND 79,500 per kilogram.
The pepper price in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province keeps at the highest of VND 79,500, followed by the price at Binh Phuoc at VND 78,500 per kilogram.
According to the Import-Export Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade, in the first 6 months of 2021, Vietnam's black pepper exports to main markets decreased, such as China, India, Egypt, Germany, and Russia.
In contrast, the amount of black pepper exported to other markets increased, such as the US, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), France, Ireland, and Pakistan.
The average export price of black pepper in the first half of 2021 reached US$ 3,090 per tonne, up 55.7% over the same period in 2020.
In the world market, rubber prices increase in exchanges compared to the latest session.
In Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM), the futures rubber price for August 2021 contracts is up by JPY 2.0 at JPY 216.0 per kilogram, up by JPY 2.7 at JPY 218.3 per kilogram for September 2021 contracts, and up by JPY 2.7 at JPY 222.3 per kilogram for October 2021 contracts.
In Shanghai Commodity Futures Exchange (SHFE), the futures rubber price for August 2021 contracts is CNY 13,430 per ton, but up by CNY 35 at CNY 13,760 per ton for September 2021 contracts, and up by CNY 35 at CNY 13,850 per ton for October 2021 contracts.
In the domestic, rubber prices are stable compared to yesterday.
Fresh rubber latex prices in Binh Phuoc province range from VND 310-315 per TSC-DRC.
Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Limited Liability Company, Binh Phuoc province, publishes the fresh rubber latex price at VND 325 per TSC-DRC.
In Dak Lak province, the rubber latex price is VND 16,000-18,000 per kilogram, depending on the type.
