Rice and paddy prices have slightly increased across the board.
Rice prices on December 4 have also increased slightly. The volume of transactions is still low, with only a few varieties being traded, mostly fragrant and sticky rice, which have higher prices.
In the Sa Dec market (Dong Thap), raw rice supply is limited, and transactions are stable. High-quality rice is hard to find, and fragrant and sticky rice is priced higher.
At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), rice prices have increased slightly, but transactions are slow, with most rice being of lower quality and few high-quality rice available.
On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is at $ 410/ton; 5% broken rice is purchased at $ 520/ton. Meanwhile, the price of 25% broken rice stands at $ 485/ton.
Thus, the price of paddy and rice on December 4, 2024, has increased slightly compared to yesterday.
