Rice prices on November 30 domestically

The rice market on November 30 showed slight fluctuations of VND100-200 in both paddy and rice prices.

Paddy prices on November 30 showed mixed movements. In many areas, prices remained high with low supply, with demand mainly focused on fragrant rice.

In An Giang, the demand for Autumn-Winter paddy is steady, with some demand for fragrant rice, and prices remain high. In Ca Mau, paddy harvesting is ongoing, with the main demand for fragrant rice.

  • Long An sticky rice (dried) is priced at VND 9,800 - 10,000/kg; Long An IR 4625 sticky rice (dried) is priced at VND 9,600 - 9,800/kg;
  • IR 50404 paddy is priced around VND 7,800 - 7,900/kg (up VND 100); Dai Thom 8 paddy is priced at VND 8,800 - 9,000/kg (down VND 100);
  • OM 5451 paddy is trading at VND 7,600 - 7,800/kg; OM 18 paddy is priced at VND 8,800 - 9,000/kg;
  • OM 380 paddy is steady at around VND 6,800 - 7,000/kg; Japanese paddy remains at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg;
  • Nang Nhen paddy (dried) is traded at VND 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa 9 paddy remains at VND 8,400 - 8,600/kg.

Similarly, rice prices on November 30 also showed slight fluctuations. The supply is limited, with some rice available for purchase, and the demand for fragrant and sticky rice is high.

  • IR 504 Summer - Autumn raw rice is priced at VND 10,200 - 10,300 VND/kg (down VND 100); IR 504 processed rice is priced at VND 12,300 - 12,500/kg (up VND 100);
  • Sticky rice is priced at VND 18,000 - 22,000/kg; regular rice is priced at VND 16,000 - 17,000/kg; Nang Nhen rice is priced at VND 28,000/kg.
  • Thai fragrant rice (long grain) is priced at VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg; Jasmine rice is priced at VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg; Huong Lai rice remains at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Common white rice is purchased at VND 17,500/kg; Nang Hoa rice is priced at VND 21,500/kg; Soc rice is priced at VND 18,000 - 18,500/kg; Soc Thai rice is steady at VND 21,000/kg.
  • Taiwan fragrant rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg; Japanese rice remains at VND 22,000/kg.
  • OM 5451 broken rice is priced at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg (down VND 100); dry rice bran is priced at VND 5,800 - 6,000/kg (up VND 200).

On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is $ 410/ton; the price of standard 5% broken rice is $ 520/ton. The price of 25% broken rice is $ 485/ton.

Thus, the rice and paddy prices on November 30, 2024, show mixed movements compared to yesterday.
