Rice prices on November 26 domestically

The rice market on November 26 showed no new changes in both paddy and rice prices.

  • Long An sticky rice (dry) is priced at VND 9,800 - 10,000/kg; Long An IR 4625 sticky rice (dry) is priced at VND 9,600 - 9,800/kg;
  • IR 50404 paddy is around VND 7,600 - 7,800/kg; Dai Thom 8 paddy remains at VND 8,200 - 8,400/kg;
  • OM 5451 paddy trades at VND 7,600 - 7,800/kg; OM 18 paddy is priced at VND 8,500 - 8,600/kg;
  • OM 380 paddy holds steady at VND 6,800 - 7,000/kg; Japanese paddy remains at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg;
  • Nang Nhen (dry) paddy is traded at VND 20,000/kg; while Nang Hoa 9 paddy stays at VND 8,400 - 8,600/kg.

In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), high-quality raw rice prices remain stable. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the volume is low, and rice prices are stable. In An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), rice is sporadic, with stable prices, mostly weaker types of rice, and fewer premium grades.

  • Raw IR 504 Summer - Autumn rice is priced at VND 10,350 - 10,500/kg; finished IR 504 rice is priced at VND 12,450 - 12,550/kg;
  • Sticky rice is priced at VND 18,000 - 22,000/kg; Regular rice is priced at VND 16,000 - 17,000/kg; Nang Nhen rice is priced at VND 28,000/kg.
  • Thai fragrant long-grain rice is priced at VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg; Jasmine rice is priced at VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg; Huong Lai rice holds steady at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Common white rice is bought at VND 17,500/kg; Nang Hoa rice is at VND 21,500/kg; Soc rice typically remains between VND 18,000 - 18,500/kg; while Soc Thai rice is at VND 21,000/kg.
  • Taiwan fragrant rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg; Japanese rice remains at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Meanwhile, OM 5451 broken rice is priced at VND 9,300 - 9,400/kg, and dry rice bran is priced at VND 5,950 - 6,100/kg.

In the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is at $ 410/ton; standard 5% broken rice is purchased at $ 522/ton. The price of 25% broken rice is at $ 485/ton.

Thus, the paddy and rice prices on November 26, 2024, remain unchanged compared to yesterday.
