Rice prices on December 10 domestically

The rice market on December 10 is maintaining stability for paddy but slightly increasing for rice.

Paddy prices today (December 10) still show no new changes. Many localities have high and stable prices, with slow transactions and few buyers.

  • Long An sticky rice 3 months (dried) has a price of VND 9,800 - 10,000/kg; Long An IR 4625 sticky rice (dried) is priced at VND 9,600 - 9,800/kg;
  • IR 50404 paddy is priced around VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg; Dai thom 8 paddy is steady at VND 8,800 - 9,000/kg;
  • OM 5451 paddy is traded at VND 8,600 - 8,800/kg; OM 18 paddy is priced at VND 9,000 - 9,200/kg;
  • OM 380 paddy remains around VND 7,200/kg; Japanese paddy stays at VND 7,800 - 8,000/kg;
  • Nang Nhen (dried) paddy is traded at VND 20,000/kg; while Nang Hoa 9 is priced at VND 9,200 - 9,400/kg.

Meanwhile, rice prices on December 10 show a slight increase, with a gradual supply of rice. Raw fragrant rice has slightly increased, but transactions are slow.

In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), fragrant raw rice and 5451 rice have slightly increased VND by 100/kg compared to yesterday.

  • IR 504 Summer - Autumn raw rice is priced at VND 10,300 - 10,400/kg (up VND 100); finished IR 504 rice is priced at VND 12,300 - 12,400/kg (up VND 100);
  • Sticky rice is priced at VND 18,000 - 22,000/kg; regular rice is priced at VND 16,000 - 17,000/kg; Nang Nhen rice is priced at VND 28,000/kg.
  • Thai fragrant long-grain rice is priced at VND 20,000 - 22,000/kg; Jasmine rice is priced at VND 17,000 - 18,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is priced at VND 22,000/kg.
  • Regular white rice is priced at VND 17,500/kg; Nang Hoa rice is priced at VND 21,500/kg; Soc regular rice remains at VND 18,000 - 18,500 /kg; Soc Thai rice is priced at 21,000 VND/kg.
  • Taiwan fragrant rice is priced at VND 21,000/kg; Japanese rice remains at VND22,000 VND/kg.
  • OM 5451 broken rice is priced at 9,000 - 9,100 VND/kg, dry bran is priced at 5,900 - 6,050 VND/kg (up 50 VND).

On the export market, the price of 100% broken rice is at $ 410/ton; standard 5% broken rice is purchased at $ 520/ton. Meanwhile, the price of 25% broken rice is at $ 485/ton.

Thus, the price of paddy and rice today, December 10, 2024, has slightly increased for rice compared to yesterday.
