Pepper prices on November 30 globally

Globally, pepper prices continued to see slight increases in Indonesia on November 30.

Specifically, the price of black pepper from Lampung, Indonesia, rose by 0.05%, reaching $ 6,627/ton. Meanwhile, white pepper from Muntok saw an increase of 0.13%, climbing to $ 9,143/ton.

In Malaysia, black pepper Kuching ASTA is priced at $ 8,400/ton, while white pepper ASTA is trading at $ 10,500/ton.

In the Brazilian market, black pepper ASTA 570 is being traded at $ 6,150/ton, marking a 1.63% increase.

For Vietnam, the export price of black pepper 500 g/l is at $ 6,200/ton, and the 550 g/l variety is at $ 6,500/ton. Meanwhile, the export price for white pepper is $ 9,400/ton.

Global pepper prices continue to rise in Indonesia, but there are no significant changes in other producing countries.

After several weeks of price decline, pepper prices have shown signs of recovery. According to Harris Spice, the remaining stock in other producing countries, especially Vietnam and Indonesia, has created a bearish sentiment. Additionally, demand remains weak as buyers remain cautious.

Thus, global pepper prices on November 30, 2024, continue to rise in Indonesia compared to yesterday.

In Vietnam, pepper prices on November 30 continued to rise sharply compared to the previous day.

Specifically, in Dak Lak, the price of pepper has increased to VND 145,000/kg, up by VND 1,500.

The price of pepper in Dak Nong has risen by VND 2,000, reaching VND 145,500/kg.

Pepper in Gia Lai is now priced at VND 144,000/kg, an increase of VND 1,500.

Similarly, in Dong Nai, traders are buying pepper at VND 144,000/kg.

The price of pepper in Ba Ria - Vung Tau is VND 143,000/kg, also up by VND 1,500.

Finally, traders in Binh Phuoc have increased the price by VND 2,000, with the current price at VND 144,000/kg.

Domestic pepper prices today continued to rise by VND 1,500 - 2,000, pushing the price of this commodity to a high of VND 145,000/kg.

Thus, the price of pepper in Vietnam on November 30, 2024, is trading around the range of VND 143,000 - 145,000/kg.
