Pepper prices on November 20 globally

Globally, the pepper prices on November 20 are relatively stable.

Accordingly, Lampung black pepper in Indonesia decreased by 0.09%, reaching $ 6,470/ton. Muntok white pepper from Indonesia also dropped by 0.09%, priced at $ 9,055/ton.

Kuching ASTA black pepper in Malaysia is priced at $ 8,400/ton, and ASTA white pepper in Malaysia is at $ 10,500/ton.

In Brazil, ASTA 570 black pepper is trading at $ 6,000/ton.

In Vietnam, black pepper of grade 500 g/l is being traded at $ 6,200/ton, while grade 550 g/l is at $ 6,500/ton. White pepper for export is at $ 9,400/ton.

Global pepper prices remain steady today, with no new reports of fluctuations from any country.

In Dak Lak, the purchase price of black pepper has increased to VND 140,000/kg, up by VND 500.

Dak Nong's black pepper price today is stable at VND 140,000/kg.

Gia Lai's pepper price is stable at VND 139,000/kg.

Traders in Dong Nai are buying at VND 138,500/kg.

In Ba Ria - Vung Tau, the pepper price is VND 139,000/kg.

In Binh Phuoc, traders are buying at VND 139,000/kg.

Domestic pepper prices have only slightly increased in Dak Lak, while prices in other key regions remain stable.

According to information from the Vietnam Pepper Association (VPSA), in the first 10 months of the year, Vietnam's pepper export structure has seen significant changes, with a notable increase in ground pepper exports and a gradual decline in whole pepper exports.

It can be seen that the proportion of whole pepper exports from Vietnam is currently about 80.5%, while ground pepper and other processed products make up 19.5%.

Thus, the domestic pepper price on November 20, 2024, is trading around VND 138,500 - 140,000/kg.
