Specifically, black pepper from Lampung, Indonesia, is priced at $ 7,276/ton, while white pepper from Muntok remains at $ 9,770/ton.
Malaysia's Kuching ASTA black pepper is trading at $ 9,000/ton, and its ASTA white pepper is at $ 11,600/ton.
In Brazil, ASTA 570 black pepper is priced at $ 6,400/ton.
Meanwhile, in Vietnam, export black pepper prices have decreased, with 500 g/l trading at $ 6,500/ton and 550 g/l at $ 6,650/ton. Similarly, export white pepper is at $ 9,550/ton.
Global pepper prices today remain stable. Last week, the global pepper market showed positive movements as many countries experienced strong price increases.
Specifically, black and white pepper prices in Indonesia surged by 1.5%, while Brazil's black pepper saw a sharp 5.7% increase. Except for Malaysia’s pepper and Vietnam’s export white pepper, which remained unchanged, Vietnam’s 500 g/l black pepper rose by 2.4%.
Thus, as of February 10, 2025, global pepper prices remain unchanged compared to yesterday.
In the domestic market, pepper prices today hold steady compared to yesterday.

The domestic pepper price today remains unchanged, with the highest level reaching VND 159,000/kg. Over the past week, the domestic pepper market has surged by VND 8,500 - 10,800.
According to the MARD, the total pepper-growing area in Vietnam in 2024 is about 113,000 ha, with an estimated output of 190,000 tons. Compared to 2023, when the pepper-growing area was 115,000 ha, the highest recorded area was in 2017, reaching 151,900 ha. Vietnam has maintained its leading position in global pepper production and export for more than 20 years. However, the cultivated area has shown a gradual decline over the years.
Thus, the domestic pepper price on February 10, 2025, is trading around VND 156,000 - 159,000/kg.
