Update on the price of live pork market in 3 regions on 05/23/2023
Live pork price on May 23 in the Northern market increased by VND 1,000-2,000/kg compared to yesterday.
In which, the prices in the provinces of Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Ninh Binh, and Tuyen Quang are about VND 57,000 - 59,000/kg, after slightly inching a price.
Along with the above momentum, Hung Yen raised the transaction price to VND 60,000/kg - the highest in the region.
After increasing by VND 2,000/kg, many localities including Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, and Hanoi are purchasing around VND 57,000 - 59,000/kg.
Thus, today's live pork price on 05/23/2023 in the North market is trading around VND 57,000 - 60,000/kg.
Live pork prices on May 23 in the Central and Central Highlands markets increased sharply by VND 5,000/kg compared to yesterday.
Specifically, the two provinces of Dak Lak and Lam Dong increased slightly, respectively, to VND 56,000 and VND 58,000/kg, respectively.
After increasing by VND 2,000/kg, the provinces of Quang Binh, Ninh Thuan, Nghe An, and Binh Thuan are buying at prices from VND 57,000 to VND 59,000/kg.
The highest transaction level in the region is currently in Binh Dinh province (with a price of VND 61,000/kg), after a sharp increase of VND 5,000/kg.
The remaining localities' prices increased sharply by VND 3,000 - 4,000/kg, to about VND 57,000 - 60,000/kg.
Thus, the price of live pork on 05/23/2023 in the Central and Central Highlands is buying around VND 56,000 - 61,000/kg.
Live pork price on May 23 in the southern market increased sharply by VND 6,000/kg compared to yesterday.
Accordingly, a series of localities including Tien Giang, Bac Lieu, Vinh Long, Kien Giang, Ben Tre, and Soc Trang increased the price by VND 2,000/kg, trading around VND 56,000 - 60,000/kg.
After a sharp increase of VND 4,000/kg, traders in Hau Giang are buying at VND 60,000/kg.
After increasing by VND 6,000/kg, Long An became the locality with the highest price in the region, at VND 61,000/kg.
Thus, the price of live po today in the whole South continues to trade around the threshold of 54,000 - 58,000 VND/kg.
