Live pork prices on May 19 in the Northern market increased slightly in some places compared to yesterday.
Thai Nguyen and Hanoi brought the price to VND 56,000/kg, after increasing by VND 1,000/kg.
This is also the price anchored in Hung Yen - the highest transaction level in the region today.
The prices in the remaining cities have no new changes.
Thus, live pork price on 05/192023 in the Northern market is trading at VND 54,000 - 56,000/kg.
Live pork prices on May 19 in the Central and Central Highlands markets increased by VND 1,000/kg compared to yesterday.
Specifically, 3 provinces of Quang Binh, Khanh Hoa, and Ninh Thuan simultaneously increased the price slightly, trading at VND 55,000/kg. This is also the current price level in Ha Tinh and Dak Lak.
Lam Dong remained unchanged, continuing to purchase at the price of VND 57,000/kg - the highest level in the region. Meanwhile, the prices in Quang Tri and Quang Nam are anchored at the low level of the region, with the price of VND 54,000/kg.
Other localities' prices remained stable, trading at VND 56,000/kg.
Thus, the price of live pork on 05/19/2023 today in the Central and Central Highlands is buying around VND 54,000 - 57,000/kg.
Live pork price on May 19 in the southern market increased to VND 2,000/kg compared to yesterday.
Accordingly, after a slight increase of VND 1,000/kg, An Giang raised the price to VND 54,000/kg. On par with Can Tho and Tien Giang, becoming the lowest purchasing level in the region.
Along with this increase, Bac Lieu raised the transaction price to VND 55,000/kg.
In Vung Tau, Vinh Long, Kien Giang, and Hau Giang, traders are now buying at VND 56,000/kg, an increase of VND 1,000 - 2,000/kg compared to yesterday.
Currently, VND 57,000/kg is still the highest price in the region today and was recorded in Tra Vinh and Dong Thap. The 2 provinces increased the price by VND 1,000 and VND 2,000/kg, respectively.
