Live pork price on May 16 in the Northern market is less fluctuating compared to yesterday.
Nam Dinh increased the price slightly by VND 1,000/kg, bringing the price to VND 54,000/kg.
The price in Ha Nam, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, and Ninh Binh provinces is balanced, maintaining trading at VND 53,000/kg.
The remaining localities did not have any new changes, continuing to purchase in the price range of VND 54,000 - 55,000/kg.
Thus, the price of live pork on 05/16/2023 in the Northern market is trading at VND 53,000 - 55,000/kg.
Live pork prices on May 16 in the Central and Central Highlands markets increased slightly in some places compared to yesterday.
Specifically, Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan increased the price slightly by VND 1,000/kg, together purchasing at a price of up to VND 54,000/kg.
Meanwhile, Quang Ngai continues to keep the transaction level at the highest level in the region, with a price of VND 56,000/kg.
In Lam Dong and Binh Thuan, traders are still buying at VND 55,000/kg.
Other provinces such as Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, and Hue kept the price at VND 53,000/kg - the lowest level in the region today.
Thus, the price of live pork on 05/16/2023 in the Central and Central Highlands is around VND 53,000 - 56,000/kg.
Live pork price on May 16 in the southern market increased by VND 1,000/kg compared to yesterday.
Accordingly, An Giang, after increasing the price by VND 1,000/kg, has increased the price to VND 53,000/kg - the lowest level in the region today.
Similar to the above increase, Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong simultaneously purchased at VND 54,000/kg. This equals the price anchored in Vung Tau, Dong Thap, and Tra Vinh.
Except for Long An province, where the price is anchored at the highest level in the region, at VND 55,000/kg. The remaining cities' prices remain at the trading level of VND 53,000/kg.
Thus, live pork price throughout the South continues to trade around the threshold of VND 53,000 - 55,000/kg.
