Live pork price on May 13 in the Northern market increased by VND 1,000 - 2,000/kg in some places compared to yesterday.
The price in many provinces such as Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Ha Nam, Hanoi, and Tuyen Quang simultaneously increased slightly, bringing the transaction level to about VND 53,000 - 54,000/kg.
After increasing by VND 2,000/kg, Thai Binh raised the price to VND 55,000/kg - the highest price in the region today.
Thus, the price of live pigs today May 13, 2023, in the Northern market is trading at VND 53,000 - 55,000/kg.
Live pork prices on May 13 in the Central and Central Highlands markets increased by VND 2,000/kg compared to yesterday.
Specifically, after a slight increase of VND 1,000/kg, traders in the provinces of Ninh Thuan, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, and Quang Nam raised the price to VND 53,000 - 54,000/kg.
In Lam Dong, the buying price is also increasing to VND 55,000/kg, after a slight increase.
Meanwhile, Nghe An increased to VND 2,000/kg, pushing the transaction price to VND 54,000/kg. The price is equal to the price anchored in Binh Dinh and Dak Lak.
The remaining localities show no new changes. Quang Ngai continues to anchor the price at the highest level in the region, at VND 56,000/kg.
Thus, the price of live pork today May 13, 2023, in the Central and Central Highlands is around VND 53,000 - 56,000/kg.
Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Phuoc, and Kien Giang all increased slightly, raising the transaction level to VND 53,000/kg.
Similarly, live pork in Dong Thap and Tra Vinh is being bought by traders for VND 54,000/kg.
In Ben Tre, after a slight increase of VND 1,000/kg, traders here are buying at VND 55,000/kg - on par with Dong Nai and Long An; and this became the highest purchasing level in the area today.
Other provinces and cities maintained yesterday's prices.
