Mr. Bernd Meerpohl delivered an overview of Big Dutchman Group during the ceremony, emphasizing the company's status as a global leader in the provision of poultry and pig farming solutions, which include high-tech housing and farm equipment. Established in 1938 and headquartered in Germany, Big Dutchman has offices in more than 100 countries and operations across five continents. The brand is synonymous with sustainable and innovative farming equipment and infrastructure for medium- and large-scale commercial farming.

Big Dutchman has been operating in Asia for more than three decades, with a contemporary regional distribution center in Klang, Malaysia, and offices in Thailand, the Philippines, Myanmar, Australia, Japan, and India. The company has provided farming solutions to significant agricultural corporations in Vietnam, including De Heus (Netherlands), CP (Thailand), Vinamilk, Hung Nhon, and Dabaco.

Mr. Meerpohl stated, "We discovered Hung Nhon to be a professional and dependable agricultural partner with a profound comprehension of the Vietnamese market, particularly in the area of livestock farming, and with a wealth of experience and strong relationships. We are eager to collaborate with Hung Nhon in order to capitalize on each other's strengths and exchange experiences in order to make significant progress in the future."

Mr. Vu Manh Hung, on behalf of the Hung Nhon Group, commended Big Dutchman for its international-standard farming technology, robust financial capacity, and nearly 90 years of experience in livestock farming. He observed that these factors are essential for Hung Nhon to achieve its objective of becoming an agricultural group in Vietnam that adheres to the export standards of Halal markets and has a "green" production chain.

Mr. Vu Manh Hung introduced the Hung Nhon Group, which presently manages approximately 1,000 hectares of agriculture in the Central Highlands and southeastern Vietnam through the DHN chain system and 17 member companies.

"The most notable aspect of Hung Nhon's projects is the implementation of a 'green' production chain in Vietnam, the use of top-tier vaccines, and the application of internationally certified technology in livestock farming, in partnership with De Heus," stated Mr. Vu Manh Hung.

"With a total investment of nearly 10 trillion VND, one of the key projects in this chain is the development of 12 high-tech agricultural projects in Tay Ninh." The project's objective is to generate USD 2 billion in projected revenues by 2030 by producing 83 million breeding and commercial poultry for export from Tay Ninh. Big Dutchman is the third international collaborator to establish a strategic partnership with Hung Nhon, following De Heus (Netherlands) and Olmix (France).

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien recognized the substantial contributions made by both organizations to Vietnam's agriculture sector in recent years. He expressed the expectation that the partnership would not only be advantageous to the companies involved, but also contribute to Vietnam's Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development Strategy for 2021-2030, with an eye toward 2050.

“Vietnam's agricultural potential and strengths are vast and underutilized due to lack of technology. The presence of Big Dutchman will unquestionably benefit Vietnam's agriculture by providing farmers, farm owners, and businesses with access to modern, high-quality equipment at the most competitive prices", the Deputy Minister of MARD stated.
