Hung Nhon Group and Olmix (France) signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Hanoi recently to establish a partnership program for livestock products that meet Halal standards, supply chains, and production.
Olmix will provide Hung Nhon with veterinary technical services for disease control in livestock farms and vaccine products, including poultry vaccines from Boehringer Ingelheim (BI), in accordance with the MoU.
As per Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of Hung Nhon Group, Boehringer Ingelheim is one of the world's largest pharmaceutical groups, offering both human and veterinary pharmaceuticals.
Founded in 1885, Boehringer Ingelheim is a family-owned company currently employing over 53,000 individuals across 140 branches worldwide. Boehringer Ingelheim's headquarters bases in Ingelheim, Germany.

Olmix, a group with a wealth of experience in the distribution of high-quality and cutting-edge vaccines, particularly those that meet Halal-standard poultry vaccines, has a comprehensive understanding of practical livestock farming and technical support.
"The use of high-quality vaccines provided by Olmix also contributes to the production of food products that meet food safety and hygiene standards, which are sufficient for export, particularly the Halal standard," stated Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien."
Hung Nhon Group and De Heus Group are investing in a succession of high-tech agricultural projects in the Central Highlands, with a particular emphasis on a large project chain in Tay Ninh, according to Mr. Vu Manh Hung. In particular, DHN has committed to investing nearly VND 10,000 billion in 12 high-tech agricultural initiatives in Tay Ninh between 2023 and 2030. The objective is to achieve 83 million breeding and meat poultry for export in Tay Ninh by 2030.
Mr. Vu Manh Hung stated, "Our partnership chain is able to meet export standards to the Halal market as a result of our collaboration with Olmix and Boehringer Ingelheim's superior vaccine products, thereby achieving our annual goal of $2 billion."
Hung Nhon has grown from a modest poultry farm to a multifaceted corporation that is highly active in numerous sectors.
