During the meeting, C.P. Group revealed its outstanding achievements in Vietnam, particularly in the areas of livestock husbandry and food processing, which were the result of years of investment and business operations. The group has actively supported the development of rural communities in Vietnam, created tens of thousands of local jobs, and made significant contributions to the safe food supply chain.
C.P. Vietnam's investment in a large-scale poultry farming, slaughtering, processing, and export complex in Binh Phuoc province is a notable example, with a total investment exceeding USD 200 million. At the end of 2021, the project commenced operations with a planned annual production capacity of 50 million broiler chickens. With the assistance of local authorities and ministries, the organization has effectively exported its merchandise to particularly demanding markets, including Japan and Hong Kong.

During the meeting, Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont, Chairman of C.P. Group, expressed his optimism that the Vietnamese government and pertinent ministries will provide ongoing and more robust support to boost exports to potential markets, such as Europe and Arab countries.
Furthermore, C.P. Group suggested that the government and ministries foster domestic business partnerships to ensure a consistent supply of basic materials for the domestic animal feed industry and to promote local production.

C.P. Vietnam is currently collaborating with various domestic enterprises, including the Vietnam Rubber Group and Loc Troi Group, to establish programs for the cultivation and procurement of local ingredients, including rice bran and maize. This initiative aims to decrease the reliance on imported materials.
“C.P. Group is committed to accompanying Vietnam’s livestock sector on the path toward sustainable development through technology transfer, improved production capacity, and promotion of green, circular agriculture models for the benefit of both the people and the national economy. This will help elevate the global profile of Vietnamese agricultural products,” affirmed Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont.
Minister Do Duc Duy commended C.P. Group as a paradigm of sustainable agricultural development with a strong community-oriented approach, which, after listening to the chairman's remarks, many Vietnamese enterprises should learn from.
The Minister also recognized C.P.'s significant contribution to the livestock value chain, employment generation, and the competitiveness of the Vietnamese livestock industry. He also recognized the group’s community engagement activities, such as supporting the OCOP (One Commune, One Product) program, helping conserve the red-crowned crane, and planting trees.
Looking ahead, Minister Do Duc Duy encouraged C.P. Group to improve the quality of its livestock products further, increase the application of technology, promote digital transformation and green transition to maximise productivity in chicken meat production and processing. He stated this would facilitate the expansion of Vietnamese-branded poultry exports to European markets.
“I encourage C.P. Group to build integrated value chains in collaboration with farmers, cooperatives, and Vietnamese enterprises. At the same time, I urge the group to implement training programs to enhance management capacity and continue replicating successful models for community development, as well as promoting social and environmental responsibility in Vietnam,” the Minister concluded.
Since entering the country in 1988 and establishing its inaugural factory in 1993, C.P. Vietnam has consistently endeavored to advance the high-tech agriculture sector.
The firm has gradually assisted and connected farmers in transitioning from small-scale farming practices to industrial farming, thereby overcoming this difficult journey. In addition, they have implemented initiatives that prioritize sustainable development, including the development of the green economy, circular economy, and digital economy, as well as the transfer of closed-loop farming technology following the 3F model (Feed – Farm – Food). They have also enhanced and upgraded the 3F model to 3F Plus by extending and finalizing the traceability process. The application of modern technologies, such as Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence (AI), and Big Data, in management, production, and business operations, has always been considered a critical factor by C.P. Vietnam in enhancing productivity and product quality, improving competitiveness with reasonable prices, targeting export, and developing sustainable agriculture.
